Manx National Theatre (Sheshaght – Chloie Ashoonagh) is a unique, community-driven performance project that offers people of all ages the opportunity to experience high-quality, professionally led theatre — completely free of charge.

Founded with the goal of nurturing homegrown talent, we create a welcoming space where creativity, confidence, and self-expression can flourish. Whether you're a curious beginner or a passionate performer, our classes are designed to challenge, inspire, and most importantly — connect.

At the heart of Manx National Theatre is a deep love for performance and a commitment to making the performing arts accessible, inclusive, and proudly local. We believe in theatre as a powerful tool for education, confidence-building, and community connection — and we're here to support every performer’s journey, from their very first line to their standing ovation.

• Free to all participants — supported as a registered Manx charity

Classes to Sponsor Free Drama

 

Every class you attend helps us keep drama and the performing arts free and accessible for children and adults across the Isle of Man. Your £5 suggested donation goes directly into funding our free community programmes including drama sessions, creative workshops, and performance opportunities.

 

Here’s what’s currently on offer:

• Adult Ballet – Sundays at 12pm

• Adult Tap Dance – Sundays at 1pm

• Adult Jazz & Musical Theatre – Sundays at 5pm

• Manx Writers (Creative Writing Group) – Regular meetups (contact us for dates)

 

All classes are welcoming, low-pressure, and open to anyone 18+. No experience? No problem. Just come as you are.
